Medi-Gyn’s Transformative Collaboration for Improved Hormone Health Services

The base product for bioidentical hormones produced by the pharmacy is obtained  from a yam root, the ingredients of which are the so-called diosgenins and these have a structure that is similar to our sex hormones. The diosgenins are then semi-enzymatically converted to progesterone, pregnenolone, DHEA, testosterone and estradiol using Marker methods.

We use these hormones in micronized form, which is very important for the bioidentical hormones to work. The micronization and dispersion in olive oil ensures that the hormones bypass the first pass effect without damaging the liver in the long-term.

Irina’s Transformative Beginning

Irina’s journey towards healthy living and wellness took root amidst the shadows of one of the most tragic nuclear disasters in history – Chernobyl. At just 12 years old, she and her family were forced to evacuate multiple times from their home, as they navigated life in an area deemed an ‘exclusion zone.’ This challenging experience instilled in her a vital understanding of nutrition and the importance of safe food choices, shaping her values and mission later on.

A Journey Across Europe

Her path led her from the troubled grounds of Chernobyl to Poland, then across the UK, France, Monte-Carlo, and finally to Dubai. Throughout her travels, she passionately shared her message of “lifespan and health-span,” touching the lives of many along the way.

Upon arriving in London in 1998, Irina initially embarked on a career in banking from 2003 to 2009. However, her heart remained committed to the world of naturopathic medicine. She immersed herself in researching wellness, dedicating her time to understanding natural body cleansing, remedies, and holistic well-being, all of which would later influence her work in well-ageing.

Founding Purifyne Cleanse

Her relentless pursuit of knowledge and the desire to help others culminated in the creation of Purifyne Cleanse Ltd., one of the UK’s pioneering Juice Detox Companies, which she ran from 2009 to 2016. Simultaneously, she supported international clients in their Well-Ageing Programmes, focusing on body detoxification, weight management, and enhancing both lifespan and healthspan for nearly 15 years.

Educational Pursuits in Naturopathy

The success of her Well-Ageing Programmes brought joy to many, as clients reported feeling revitalised and healthier within days of joining. Their transformations were a testament to her dedication, and her programmes garnered recognition and endorsements from respected medical practitioners and therapists across the UK. Propelled by her passion and the positive impact she made, Irina pursued Naturopathic Studies at the College of Natural Medicine (CNM) in London.

Today, Irina Bond stands as the compassionate Founder/ CEO and Well-Ageing Expert at Medi-Gyn Center in Dubai. Her extensive experience and heartfelt commitment warm the hearts of those she serves, guiding each client to become the best version of themselves. By blending her diverse skill set in product knowledge, business development, linguistic and client management, she continues to champion the values of well-ageing and hormone balance, making a difference in the lives of many.

With his extensive years of experience and vast up-to-date knowledge, Dr. Ahmad presents a unique Functional Medicine approach combined with epigenetic and wellness technology in identifying the root cause of the diseases. 

His treatments include detection, prevention, reversing and setting up a lifestyle custom-made with advanced wellness technology designed to empower clients to optimize and restore their health to live a vibrant, energetic, and productive, healthy, and happy life span.

During his journalist career, he visited the Gulf and Saudi Arabia many times, interviewing senior banking and business figures, such as the head of the Saudi Central Bank and leaders at Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Olayan Group and the Kanoo Group. A number of his features appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and The Washington Post.

His PR experience includes being the MD of the Financial Division of a leading UK multidisciplinary PR consultancy before co-founding Sapience. He is often asked to judge PR awards, most recently he was on the judging panel of the Public Relations Consultancy Association’s Financial Services PR awards.

He specialises in advising on strategic media relations, reputational risk, media relations and training, crisis communications, and all forms of corporate transactions. Richard is a law graduate of the University of Cambridge.
