Baydaa H., Dubai, 2024

The Challenge

When Baydaa came to Medi-Gyn, her goal was very clear: she wanted her energy back.

She was already in her perimenopausal stage with constant fatigue as the main symptom, and she wanted to prepare for a horse-riding competition — an activity requiring physical stamina, strength, concentration and effective recovery.

Rather than simply accepting declining energy or trying another temporary solution, she wanted to understand what was happening inside her body and take a more comprehensive approach to improving her wellbeing and performance.

Patient Snapshot

  • Patient: Baydaa H., Dubai
  • Year: 2024
  • Protocols: BHRT + Peptide Therapy + Functional Medicine Protocol
  • Duration: 2 months + 2 months + 2 months
  • Primary Goal: Restore energy, support recovery, prepare for a horse-riding competition and alleviate perimenopause symptoms

The Medi-Gyn Approach: Looking Beyond Fatigue

Persistent fatigue is rarely something we want to approach from one angle alone.

At Medi-Gyn, Baydaa’s Hormone Balancing & Energy Programme considered several factors that can influence energy and physical resilience, including:

  • Hormonal balance
  • Mitochondrial function
  • Metabolic health
  • Nutritional health
  • Recovery

Following her medical assessment, we created a personalised plan to restore balance, support cellular energy and help Baydaa get her energy back.

Because better energy starts with finding the right cause — not just treating the symptom.

Treatment

1. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)

Her hormone health was assessed and a personalised BHRT protocol was incorporated into her treatment plan.

The objective was not simply to focus on laboratory numbers, but to consider her hormone profile alongside her symptoms, health history and individual goals.

Her hormone treatment was medically supervised and personalised according to her clinical needs.

2. Peptide Therapy

A two-month peptide protocol was incorporated into the programme, including CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin and BPC-157, prescribed as part of her individual medical protocol selected by her clinician as part of the wider strategy focused on recovery, physical resilience and overall optimisation:

  • CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin — for energy boost, muscle building, fat loss and sleep recovery.
  • BPC-157 — for reducing inflammation and better exercise recovery.

3. Functional Medicine & Nutritional Support

Because energy production depends on much more than hormones alone, the programme also incorporated targeted functional medicine support, including:

  • Nutritional and digestive support
  • Vitamin D + K2
  • Methylated B vitamins
  • Omega-3
  • Gut and liver support
  • Collagen
  • Supportive modalities including red-light therapy

The aim was to address the patient “as a whole” rather than treating fatigue as an isolated symptom.

The Medi-Gyn Approach

What makes this case particularly relevant is that Baydaa had a real-life performance goal.

She didn’t simply want better numbers on a blood test. She wanted to feel strong and energetic enough to get back in the saddle and compete.

Her programme therefore brought together:

Hormone Balance + Cellular & Metabolic Support + Recovery + Nutrition + Peptide Therapy — into one personalised strategy.

The Result

Following her personalised Hormone Balancing & Energy Programme, Baydaa reported a significant improvement in her energy levels, concentration, and physical muscle strength.

She didn’t just get her energy back. She got back in the saddle, and competed against women 25 years younger.

At the age of 47, she successfully completed her adventurous horse-riding competition, and won the GOLD MEDAL in Abu Dhabi in 2024.

For Baydaa, restoring her energy was never just about feeling less tired. It was about regaining the strength, stamina and confidence to perform at her best — and proving that age did not define what she was capable of achieving.
